DAY 4: There is nothing Ive ever done that even comes close to the intensity of being in a bobsled. I would be lying if I said I wasnt scared this morning but when they asked who was going first I found myself running up to take my place, I ended up taking 5 runs today which I think was more than anyone else (and Im feeling it now) and had the second best time with my ROCKSTAR driver Emily Ann. It literally only takes 10 seconds before your going 50 mph and another 20 sec after that before your going 80 ON ICE!!! What was even scarier is going down with 3 drivers who also HAVE NEVER DONE THIS!!! Lol. When you come around this one turn called a crisel I believe (its like a big circle) the g force pushes you in half like a piece of paper I could see my b hole lol. Its CRAZY!!! My job is a brake man, thats not as easy as it sounds either. Im a pretty strong guy but it takes A LOT of muscle to stop a sled. Another amazing part of the day was after my 5 runs I started talking to the head honchos on ideas I had about modifying my prosthetic to be able to push because you have to push and jump into be able to compete but none of the push men could get in with there leg on. SOOO tomorrow Im meeting them at 12 to make a prototype and see if we cant get this dialed in so I can compete against able body people. Im on a 4 hour adrenalin rush, my elbows and ass are BEAT UP, and Ive never felt better. Thank you to all my teammates, drivers and push men for making this a day Ill never forget. To all my teammates I couldnt tag you guys are amazing too I FREEKIN love all u guys..
