DAY 9: ITS A PLAY KINDA DAY! Tifa got a bath today and is always crazy afterward...Poppy took the opportunity to make it play time for all!!!!! It was so cute! Even Dozer was in on the fun, pouncing and prompting Poppy right back in his gentle beast way! Poppy is feeling much better today! In fact after our rough morning yesterday, she was fine the rest of the day...our little trooper! She even ate some. Potty training is coming along and when she does go in the house, its almost always on the puppy pad or near it (now that we know her preferred spot). She and Tifa are sleeping on my lap as we speak and Poppy asks to come up quite regularly now but she is still skittish especially with sudden noises and sounds; however, once u start petting her, she doesnt want you to stop and really loves belly rubs, lifting up that back leg so you can get to the whole belly! I havent taken her out and about yet since she hasnt received her vaccinations ...her appt is this Wednesday where she will be spayed, get her vacs, dental check and general check-up. Looking for only good news and then she will be ready for adoption! Yes...I am in love with this little girl but if I keep her, I wouldnt be able to foster anymore which means, that would be one less dog saved! My passion is to save dogs so we will find Poppy the perfect home and then another will come into my home for you all to fall in love with and my hopes are that when u are in the market to bring a fur-baby into your home, you too will choose to rescue!!!! If you do that, everything Ive done and do has true purpose!!! PLEASE DONT BUY YOUR NEXT DOG....ADOPT A RESCUE!!!!
