YOUR MIND MUST BE AT ITS BEST FOR GOD ROMANS 12:1-2 - “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” What is the state of your mind? Are you troubled? Are you happy? Are you always busy thinking about this, that and the other? Is your mind at its best for God? God not only desires, He also deserves our best because He always gives us His best. Your mind must be at its best for God before it becomes His dwelling place. When your mind sleeps, satan, the wily foe takes the opportunity to attack. The devil never misses an opportunity. The Holy Spirit never dwells in an unholy place. God does not keep company with unbelief. So, the first step to creating an atmosphere suitable for God to enter is to yield to the instruction of the Holy Spirit to cultivate an atmosphere of belief, for an atmosphere of unbelief makes it difficult to believe. Words created the world and words create your world. Are you living in a world of belief or a world of doubt, fear and unbelief? It is a result of the words you speak. Let us seek God’s grace for no one can speak good words that build up, edify and comfort without the help of the Holy Spirit.
