Though we have our fair share of fat cats, around fifteen pounds, Nino is the champion heavyweight of the shelter. He weighs in at twenty-five pounds! Yes, he is our tuxedo version of Garfield, without the scoffing attitude. Because Nino is sweet, gentle, and loves being petted. He may look good in the arms of a body builder who is bulging with muscles, but what he needs is the arms of a caring human who is bulging with love. NINO is a big boy that is incredibly sweet, even ACC thinks so-his behavioral assessment reads: reaction to assessor: Nino looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Nino remains lying down on his cage bedding, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Nino allows the stroke, purrs in place and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Toy or Novel Object: Shows no interest. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains immobile. Placement determination: Beginner Nino interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.. NINO is a gentle guy, a big mushy fellow with a good purrsonality, but that wont save him from being killed tomorrow-only a good foster or adopter can do that!!!
