You see, while there’s no denying that support for both the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars came from both parties’ congressional representatives, there is no doubt which party was steering the ship back then. It was the lapel-pinned, God-fearing, these-colors-don’t running crowd. The reason they don’t like talking about the Iraq War, at least not in any sort of real sense (try getting any Republican who still supports the Iraq War to admit there never any WMDs if you’re wanting to have an exercise in skull-searing insanity) is the same reason that they have been trying to scorch Obama on Bergdahl’s release — it’s one more Republican mess cleaned up by the Democrat in the White House, that’s why. - James Schlarmann
