DEFINE YOURSELF “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee - TopicsExpress

DEFINE YOURSELF “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee” (Genesis 12:1) Like Abraham, we’ve called out of this world (John 15:19); therefore, our beliefs, character, patterns, traits, interests, mindset and behaviours are different from the world. We belong to another Kingdom, and this must be your consciousness all the time. Having this consciousness, define yourself: does your language characterize your origin? Can others tell youre not of this world? Until you define yourself as a minister, you cannot help others define themselves. We’ve been given a responsibility to bring up God’s people; to coach them until they are no more children tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). It’s our responsibility to bring them up and train them in the things of God. So define your place; come to the full understanding of your ministry; that is, why youre in this world, what the purpose is, what the journey is, and what your drive is, then you’ll be clear and definite, not moved by what you see or what comes your way.
