DEFINING SUCCESS Judges 10:4-5 His thirty sons rode around on thirty donkeys, and they owned thirty towns in the land of Gilead, which are still called the Towns of Jair.* When Jair died, he was buried in Kamon. THOUGHTS - As a judge & father, we could say that Jair was a successful man & lived a successful life & raised a successful family & had a successful burial ceremony. But what did he leave behind? a) A generation that still served Baal & Ashtaroth b) Children who could not count for righteousness or affect their generation. c) No record of anything substantial he or his children did for the kingdom. - OUR SUCCESS MUST BE DEFINED, NOT BY WHAT WE OWN OR THE PROSPERITY OF OUR FAMILY BUT BY THE EFFECT OUR LIVES HAD ON OUR GENERATION & THE NEXT GENERATION! - Measure your priorities & definitions today, while theres opportunity for change!!!
