Lets talk degrees! I know someone VERY CLOSE to me, who, years ago, told me all roads lead to heaven. This person never went to college, but was/is, in my opinion, a smart guy. I did not go to college, and I dont lay claim to knowing everything, nor am I an intellect. I do know I am not lost. A farmer is out in a field, and sees this flashy car drive by several times. The driver finally stops to ask the farmer where does this road take you. The farmer states Dont rightly know. Driver asks Well, where does this road take you? Ah dont rightly know. Stated the farmer. The ritzy driver said man, you dont know very much, do you! To which the farmer stated Well, yer raght. Ah dunt know too very much, but ah know Ahm not lost! This person, close to me, who told me all roads lead to heaven.... I told him/her this: If you worked at NASA and were shooting a rocket off to Mars, if you were OFF by just an NTH of a DEGREE at lift off, you would miss Mars by possibly millions of miles! Christianity is that narrow road, and the Bible is the PLUMB LINE. Jesus even stated that Matthew 7:13-14 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. I had another person, a very dear person, who accused me of only seeing black and white. To me, this is not a problem. I do see black and white, and admit it. Even within pseudo-christianity, you have measures of truth. Shoot! Even the demons believe; Jame 2:19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror Even Mythology is based upon measures of truth. Satan knows the Bible, and duped Eve with his cunning! So, what is truth? Who has the MONOPOLY on truth? Again, read the Bible. It is the PLUMB LINE. And WHO has this monopoly? Boldly I will tell you it is one who has the belief in Jesus Christ, who holds the Bible and believes it is relevant today, from cover to cover. Even tho this person is not perfect in the flesh, his/her belief in Jesus Christ gives this person authority to spread this truth and to warn others about that NTH OF A DEGREE OFF. JOHN 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. I can afford to be narrow minded and see only black and white, and many, many of you that know me, see me as a person in high school who USED to party, I am Christian and changed those past ways, and some, even very close to me, see me as a hypocrite. Jesus was called far worse... I can afford to be called hipocrite by loved ones.
