DIASPORA PRAYER CONFERENCE WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL Sierra Leoneans from all parts of the world have just held a Diaspora Prayer teleconference . With about six imams and three Reverends (Including your humble servant ) officiating , we prayed fervently for Gods grace and intervention to save Sierra Leone and her neighbours from the scourge of Ebola. . The multi- religious character of the prayer vigil underscored the religious tolerance in our beloved country and the non-political nature of the discussions that followed further demonstrated the unity of purpose of the exercise. Questions asked and comments made were ALL in the national interest and were very useful in helping to direct the way forward in the fight against Ebola. The session which lasted over 2 hours was so successful that organizers and participants have agreed for an encore next weekend. We will bring you full reports shortly. The session was also recorded for public audience later. Thanks to the organizers Messrs Jesmed Suma, Sallu Sparko and Mustapha Wai and the array of clergymen and women and Sierra Leoneans who made the program successful. The teleconference opened the door of opportunity for valuable resource-mobilization by intending volunteers and organizations . God is moving. TOGETHER, WE SHALL CONQUER EBOLA
