DID YOU KNOW WHY BOMET EAST IS EVER POLITICKING? Very few people actually understand the kind of metamorphosis we r undergoing in #BometEast. Once upon a time....we had powerful leaders in this region. They were outspoken throughout this country. Common sense dictates that they were supposed to cause a total transformation in many sectors of the economy. They were supposed to lead by example. We expected them to help fight poverty, disease and ignorance. Instead of fighting ignorance and poverty, they fought us! Instead of feeding us with knowledge and awareness, they fed us with meat! They slaughtered bulls for us and fed our children with lollipops. Our fathers and our grandparents lived in great distress during those times. Instead of becoming exemplary leaders, they carved idols out of themselves and forced us to worship them. Our brothers and our sisters who refused to worship them lived under great fear and persecution. Their businesses underwent untold frustrations and shut down.Our cows and goats were sold in broad daylight. Our innocent teachers were transfered to far places just for refusing to worship a god! We lived in great fear and uncertainty. By all means, we as a family of #BometEast cud not be where we are today had our leaders served us diligently. Some of us are alive today to testify of the untold sufferings we underwent. That is why we are forever politicking. And dont think we do not go to the shamba. We shall not stop pointing out the ills in our society. We are not about to quit. We are not about to hold our peace! We shall continue to expose every rot until it is totally dry. Yes, we are Bomet East, arent we?!
