DONT TAKE THIS PERSONALLY, AND THIS IS NOT ABOUT ANY ONE BREED, THIS IS FOR ALL BREEDS OF DOGS, FYI. ****** Honesty is Always The BEST policy!******* -If you are not completely honest about your productions, your breedings, Your dogs period, what do you possibly have to gain by lying? IF Your dog is human and/ or dog aggressive, who also passes that trait on to its offspring, you have no business in the breeding world, if you do not take the time to educate yourself on the LIABILITY THAT COMES ALONG WITH THESE POOR TEMPERAMENTS AND CONTINUE TO ALLOW IT WITHIN THE GENE POOL! Not just a protective aggression but an inherently dangerous, unpredictable aggression. IF You sell or place pups out without disclosing all quirks about the dogs and their issues about it, THAT BECOMES A LIABILITY for the new owner because you have just passed on that subpar dog to an unknowing person. Their dog gets killed or their kid gets bit, then what? You now have to live with that on your conscience when honesty couldve saved everyone that heartache or lawsuit, hospital trip, etc. YOU have then become part of the problem and not the solution! No amount of sugar coating shit is going to be worth anyone elses bad day when they have to put their dog to sleep, or get their kid stitched up OR WORSE ATTEND A FUNERAL DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE, FROM PRODUCING AN ANIMAL WITH AN UNSOUND TEMPERAMENT! I am sick to the core over the petty breeders worrying more about their pockets and mass producing animals, with no regards to their temperament, just to see those same dogs end up mauling someones child later on! Damn right Im pissed off, and I very well should be! Why should I or anyone else be expected to sit down and be quiet about such piss poor breeding practices among ANY breed of dog?! Those kids dont have a voice, they didnt have a choice, yet breeders and owners tend to push this issue under the carpet and pretend the signs werent there. They continue to lie and say their little wiggle butt was never aggressive. The signs were there are they clearly got missed! Know why? The dog owners were out of the room, attendidng to some other thing and totally missed fifi or fido stiffening up, or looking crazy at their child before the mauling! WAKE UP America! It doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure this one out. Stop catering to these sub par dogs and cull the aggressive ones before its too late! Dont place them, dont adopt them out, there are far too many GOOD dogs with SOUND temepraments out there that need homes, to be bothered by a dog that could potentially be a ticking time bomb. It may sound harsh, but thats my take on the whole thing. Ive lived and dealt with many many different types of pit bulls and bullies and I can tell you this, the aggression is NOT going to go away in any animal that has already shown itself. You might be able to suppress it temporarlity, but once its trigger get set again, it will snap, time and time again. I dont TRUST any animal that has EVER shown ANY sign of aggression, nor will I have that shit around my kids! Dont make your kids play the guinea pig, dont make them another statistic, and to be fair, dont make your dog the next staistic either. Stop supporting these half assed breeders and stand up, rise up against this terrible breeding fad! Above all, just be HONEST about what issues your dog has had- whether it be with other dogs, kids, whatever. If we were just plain honest with ourselves and with one another, maybe all these so called maulings would never have happened. The signs wouldnt have been missed. Maybe, the dog owner wouldve been steered clear of that subpar dog and their child would still be alive today. Just think about it!
