DOOSAN Gallery New York is pleased to announce that docent program for installation and media artist, Lee Wans solo exhibition is held every Saturday at 2pm and 4pm. How one meal of breakfast is made The whole project starts with the single question and the mission of lets make a whole meal of breakfast out of my own hand. How many countries are related to a meal of breakfast we have every morning? In order to figure out the manufacturing process, Lee Wan visits the countries where each product is made and goes through the whole process of making himself. So far, he made gold in Myanmar, a silk suit in Thailand, sugar out of sugar cane, a ceramic sugar spoon, and a ceramic sugar container in Taiwan, and rice in Cambodia. Documented videos of the artist manufacturing the products with the local in each country, the objects of gold, sugar, and rice and two drawings are featured in the exhibition.
