DRR Elisia January Message: A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2015 MY ROTAFAMILY; HAPPY ROTARY AWARENESS MONTH! I hope you all enjoyed a well-earned break and are refreshed and ready for more Rotaract action. Another year is upon us and its time to take Rotaract to the next level. As we celebrate Rotary Awareness Month, let us reflect on the awesome organization that we are a part of. Reminisce on the lives we have changed, our professional advancement and lifetime friendships weve made. Wouldnt you want to share that with others on how the family of Rotary has made an enormous impact in your life and in the world? I am sure you would! This month, I urge you to spread the word of Rotaract. Go into your closets, get all those Rotaract shirts you own and wear them as often as possible. Wear your Rotaract pin proudly wherever you go as we celebrate our organization and bring awareness so that every angle of this world will come to know who we are and the great work we do. Some activities that we can conduct this month are: * Erect Rotaract and/or Four Way Test Signs at various locations * Publish newspaper articles and distribute them * Air radio ads and interview segments on various radio stations * Organize a Four Way-Test speech/song/poem contest * Rotaract Open House In addition to bringing awareness about Rotaract, take the time out to obtain more knowledge about this awesome organization. I have been a Rotaractor for 6 years and I am still in the learning process. We are never too old in membership to learn. Conduct sessions on facts about Rotaract at weekly meetings, log on to Rotary International and read through the pages, crack open your Rotaract Handbook and District 7020 Manual as there is a lot of information yet to learn. We are all part of an amazing organization that spreads throughout over 200 countries and geographical areas. Be proud of your membership! Jespère que vous avez tous profité de votre pause bien méritée et que vous êtes prêts à mener plus dactions pour le Rotaract. Une nouvelle année a débuté et il est temps d’emmener le Rotaract à un autre niveau. Pour cette célébration du Mois du Rotary, laissons-nous rejaillir sur lorganisation géniale dont nous faisons partie. Rappelez-vous des vies que nous avons changées, notre avancement professionnel et des amitiés de longues durées que nous avons construites. Ne voudriez-vous pas partager l’énorme impact que la famille du Rotary a eu dans votre vie et dans le monde ? Je suis sûr que vous le voulez! Je vous recommande donc de promouvoir le Rotaract ce mois-ci. Ouvrez vos armoires, retirez toutes les chemises Rotaract que vous possédez et portez-les aussi souvent que possible. Portez vos pins fièrement durant cette période de célébration et montrons au reste au monde qui nous sommes et qu’il vienne à nous connaître ainsi que le superbe travail que nous faisons. Quelques activités que nous pouvons mener ce mois : * Postez sur le logo Rotaract et / ou le Four Way Test à divers emplacement * Publiez des articles de presse et distribuez-les * Diffusez des spots publicitaires et faites des interviews sur des diverses radios * Organisez un concours de discours/chanson/poésie du Four Way Test * Journée Rotaract Portes ouvertes En plus de la démarche de conscience du Rotaract, prenez le temps pour obtenir plus de connaissance sur cette organisation. Jai été une Rotaractienne pendant 6 ans et je suis toujours dans le processus dapprentissage. Nous ne sommes jamais trop vieux pour apprendre plus. Organisez des sessions de formation sur le Rotaract aux réunions hebdomadaires, connectez-vous au Rotary International et parcourez les pages, ouvrez votre manuel Rotaract et le manuel District 7020 dans lesquels il y a beaucoup dinformations encore à apprendre. Nous faisons tous partie dune organisation étonnante qui sétend dans plus de 200 pays et zones géographiques. Soyez donc fier de votre adhésion!
