Daddy would have been 72 years old today & unwrapping presents wrapped in Christmas paper (which he didnt like!) & eating pineapple upside down cake (his favorite). Every day I hear a quote or joke of his (usually inappropriate!) go through my head but the most valuable one that he ever spoke was spoken to me when I was overwhelmed with a situation, life in general or making a big decision. He would tell me, Go outside & look up, its a big ole world out there. Sometimes we just need things to be put into perspective & 22 years later its still not easy to do ~ on a lighter note, I would put some of his other words of wisdom here for your amusement, however, I do believe the all knowing FB would find them inappropriate!!!
