Daily Devotional for Thursday, November 14, 2013 Scripture: John 3:11-12 I assure you that we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you dont receive our testimony. If I have told you about earthly things and you dont believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? Reflection: Jesus has a great point. How can you expect to believe in something you can’t see if you won’t even believe in something you can see? As Christians, we often struggle with our own faith in a way that makes it difficult to share with others the work we witness God doing in our lives; most of the time we don’t see what God is doing in our lives. Therefore, if we work diligently at recognizing the work of the Holy Spirit in our own lives, it will better equip us to share that witness with other people. Once we’re able to do that, then they may, in turn, take a closer look at God’s work in their lives and grow in faith based on what they see. Prayer: Lord, may my life be a living witness to others of your love and grace in Jesus Christ, the light of the world. Amen.
