Daily prayer for President Obama. Heavenly Father, President Obama has done such evil in your sight that you are just in your sentence, blameless when you condemn. May he confess his faults and may you have mercy on him, O God, in your goodness, in the greatness of your compassion wipe out his offense. Thoroughly wash him from his guilt and of his sin cleanse him. Heavenly Father, may the people of this nation know that Jesus compared Your Kingdom to a mustard seed. When it is sown in the ground it is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade. We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
