Dame in the news: Less than a week after accompanying her Hubby, President Goodluck Jonathan on a jamboree to China, Nigeria First Lady, Dame (Dr) Patience Jonathan propped up in Switzerland. What is she doing there? She is attending an international convention on telecommunication organized by the International Telecommunication Union, (ITU). Still keeping it locked on the woman from Okrika: It is with a heavy heart, we bring to you the sad news of the transition to eternal glory of the adopted Mother of the First Lady, Mama Sisi. Mama Sisi died in a ghastly motor accident which occurred in Port Harcourt on her way to Bayelsa yesterday. Details of the accident are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report. Recalled that early this year, the First Lady had to embark on a four nation inter continental shuttle from Africa to Asia and Europe which saw her transiting from Abuja to Dubai to France to Italy and Finally Germany to personally attend to Mama Sisi who was undergoing treatment for a medical condition in a German facility where the Dame was sequestered for over 3 months before her miraculous resurrection sometimes in 2012. We pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased and also that the iron Lady of Okrika should accept it as an act of God. Pray how do you rationalize this? An octogenarian traveled all the way to Germany in the quest for health only to die in an accident in her backyard. Hmmmmm the ways of God are definitely beyond the comprehension of mere mortals. Adiós Mama Sisi, for you have fought the good fight and when it was time, the good Lord called you home.
