Damn, I thought, where the hell did my room card key go? I always kept it in my clutch wallet but now, curiously, it was missing. I walked down the long dim corridor of my cruise ship deck and wondered about where it could have gone. Did I take it out when I got a drink at the bar down on deck 2 of the cruise ship? I couldnt remember. Luckily, I saw a room cleaning person and asked her to open the door for me. I scoured the room for the key to no avail. I stepped in front of the king-sized bed nightstand in my cabin picked the handset off the receiver and pushed the button for the bar downstair. Hello, I seemed to have misplaced my room key, did I happen to leave it there? No? I was just there. Strange, I thought, I normally never misplace things. I was having an off day. Okay, thank you, Ill do that. Goodbye then. As I set the receiver back into place I saw my room key on the floor. As I was about to pick it up I felt cold bony fingers slowly encircle my ankle. My boyfriend was not back from the fishing trip with the boys yet. I started screaming...
