We know for a fact that long-term leasing has failed in South Australia, where prices are about 15% higher than Queensland, we know jobs have been slashed and profits have gone overseas, and it won’t work here either, our profitable public assets will become cash cows for overseas owners. But the LNP arrogantly ignored the will of people, and now they are trying to bribe regional Queensland with promises of regional funds, how can anyone believe them, when they have lied throughout the past two and half years?” Simpson said. “For those former National Party members who profess to look after the bush, you failed to stand up and be counted, you have betrayed the bush.
