Dart Energy are launching a major fracking push in the Midlands. A drilling rig is already being erected at one site in Cheshire, pad construction has begun at another in Nottinghamshire and plans for 2-3 other sites in the Cheshire/Wrexham area are in the pipeline. We have a chance to make it clear to Dart that they are unwanted here or anywhere. The time to act is now. The amounts of gas which Dart is bragging it could get out of its Midlands licences would require over 10,000 fracking wells to extract. See: frack-off.org.uk/dart-frack-attack-multi-well-program-in-midlands/ for all the details. Communities in the area are mobilising and they need YOUR help to kickstart resistance to Darts plans! Frack Free Farndon (Cheshire), supported by other groups in the region, have called an event (FIGHT THE FRACK!) for Sunday 16th March at 1pm, outside the Kings Marsh fracking site in Farndon, Cheshire. If you can’t make it don’t worry – this is a region-wide day of solidarity and resistance: Send photo-messages of solidarity to frackfreefarndon@hotmail Please help spread the word (forward this e-mail, invite people to Facebook event etc.) to anyone you think might be interested. -- Web: frack-off.org Facebook: Frack Off (UK) Twitter: frack_off
