Date : Jan 23rd 2006 Location : A small tea stall, FC Road Pune. It was around 5 p.m. As per my routine I went to a nearby tea stall for my daily evening snacks. And I had a really bad hangover from last night, I was kinda stinking and I hadnt shaved since long. The shop owner and the workers, everyone knew me. I was talking to them in a friendly manner when a pretty girl arrived in the shop with her friend. After a minute or two... (to me) Excuse me, can I get a tea please? I, after saying WTF! Why? in my mind, after a few seconds, straightaway went to the counter and asked for a cup of tea and placed it on her table. Thank you. Youre welcome. (After a pause) By the way, I dont work here. (Embarrassed more than surprised) OMG! Im so sorry. I thought. . . (Interrupting her, chuckling ) No, no! Its not your fault, I had a really bad hangover from last night and I didnt take bath so Im kinda messed up. But hey, I dont look that bad. Both of us laughed sheepishly. Well, later I managed to convince the pretty girl that I dont really look that bad. Now I make tea for the pretty girl every morning. We occasionally recall this conversation and laugh crazily. And right now, I am on my way to Bangkok with the pretty girl to celebrate the third anniversary of our marriage.
