Proverbs 5:3-6 KJV For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Good Morning and Happy Monday Lets make no mistake the writer is speaking of sin I would say lets focus on that: 1. honeycomb, it taste good and sweet 2. oil, smooth and make stuff fit where its not suppose to fit. The end result is 1. wormwood, by the time we notice the bitter taste the damage is done 2. two edged sword, sin can take from us and make us look and feel low as dirt just as the two edged sword cut inward and outward 3. the destination, Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell . Now that we have the intel brief on sin lets look at God, cause you see when we focus on Him and our steps are ordered that sweet taste of sin and the slick oil is revealed for what it is DEATH!!!! SO lets ID the target, suit up and battle it daily, do you receive it today, I do. Father, We thank you showing us in Your word these things to assist us in our daily battle with sin, Please God protect and continue to provide the data needed for our success on this battle field.
