Davao News: DOLE TO HOLD JOBS FAIR FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION Some 3,000 job seekers are expected to flock to Davao City in southern Philippines for another job fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment and NCCC Mall. Dubbed as 2014 Kalayaan Job Fair, the event will coincide with the 116th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 12. DOLE said ABS-CBN will also participate in the event. “A total of 100 agencies will be participating in the Kalayaan Job Fair and 70 of which are local agencies and 30 agencies are for overseas employment,” Assistant Regional Director Venerando Cebrano said, adding some 6,881 job vacancies have been solicited from these agencies - 3,381 job vacancies for local employment and 3,500 vacancies for overseas employment. mindanaoexaminer/news.php?news_id=20140527095400
