Dave Murrays Latest STL forecast and weather disco…TUESDAY September 30, 2014: ***Mild to warm temps in place around the region...all remains dry into Wednesday…then a wet change*** TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny...mild to warm WINDS: South 5-10 M.P.H. HIGH: 85 degrees TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild WINDS: South 5-10 M.P.H. LOW: 61 DEGREES. WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny...mild to warm WINDS: South 10-15 M.P.H. HIGH: 87 DEGREES THE WEATHER DISCO: Lets do it all over again...the pattern remains stuck and in control by a large dome of high pressure...but the high is shrinking and losing its force....getting attacked by two weather systems...a weak back-door cool front from the north...this never gets into the STL area...the high pressure will deflect it away with a strong system coming over the Rockies...this will act like a weather bowling ball and slowly work over the nation…slow to move in…slow to move out…bringing scattered rain and thunderstorms…maybe some strong stuff…late Wednesday night, Thursday and Thursday night…I think overall severe weather will be tough to find....hopefully some much needed rain…followed by cooler…nothing extreme but cool air Friday along with gusty winds…and cool...typical early October for the weekend...with dry times...its a short hit...with a fast warm-up behind CHECK OUT ALL THE MAPS BELOW: CLICK ON LINKS...THEY WILL GIVE YOU A GREAT OVERVIEW OF THE WEATHER SURFACE MAP: nws.noaa.gov/outlook_tab.php NATIONAL RADAR: weather.gov/radar SEVERE WEATHER: spc.noaa.gov PROG MAPS: aviationweather.gov/adds/progs SNOW MAPS: nohrsc.noaa.gov/nsa
