David Green An Initial Appeal for Funds & Support: 1,000 for $10 My goal for my campaign for Congress in the Democratic Party primary (IL-13) is to raise a modest amount of money from a considerable number of people, to establish both a financial foundation and a base of support by the end of October. I am asking for no more than $10 from anyone willing to support my campaign, through the DONATE button on my website. I ask that you LIKE my campaign Facebook page, accessible from the website, even if you cannot donate. I also ask that you leave your contact information on the GET INVOLVED tab, so we can keep a head count and mailing list. I encourage you to CIRCULATE this request to your own contacts and Friends, Facebook or otherwise. This goal is intended to meet the initial expenses of the campaign, and assess my base of support for further activity. We will track our progress on the website, and go from there. If history is any indication, I will need 15,000 to 20,000 votes to win this primary election. This constitutes 3-4% of the voting age population in the district.
