David Suzuki says, GMOs Are A Massive Experiment On Humans. For years and years, people including scientists, doctors, professional researchers, and multiple pubic figures have been speaking about GMOs and the hazards they contain. After much time, our efforts to ban GMOs looks promising. Most countries in the world have already banned GMOs for good. Just recently the big island of Hawaii also passed a law banning any biotech companies such as Monsanto from operating on the land. Leaving many of us wondering, when will the rest of North America follow? Geneticist David Suzuki has been a long time advocate against GMOs, and has been speaking out about how they can be harmful to human health as well as the environment. It is time to wake up and realize we can not trust branches of the government that deal with food and health. Suzuki believes we as humans are part of a massive experiment. It is clear that GMOs are extremely hazardous and should not be consumed. This large movement across the globe is not simply based on belief. There have been multiple studies by scientists and researchers all across the earth, with results showing that GMOs truly are harmful. According to the Journal of Hematology and Thromboembolic Diseases, Bt toxins found in Monsanto crops can damage red blood cells, potentially causing leukemia. A range of studies also show that GMO crops have been linked to multiple cases of cancer and other diseases
