Day 1 Washington to Texas: we made it to Garrison, Montana and are staying at a Riverside RV Park. My thoughts and prayers go out to those being affected by the wildfires. We were re-routed because of it and halfway thru Washington we could smell the smoke and the sky was a grey haze instead of blue and beautiful. We experienced that even in Montana. Maybe it will be better tomorrow. No major catastrophies yet except for UL almost taking out gas pump with the RV. Oh and we played out a scene from Alfred Hitchcocks, The Birds when we stopped to eat lunch at a rest stop!! Tomorrow we head to Yellowstone!!!
