Day 1217, Oct 3: It has been a slow day. I managed to get to sleep to about ten today. I had a few call outs last night, but only close ones. Today I only had a few calls about what I charge for transport and that was about it. I’ll go to bed about eight this evening and prepare for a long night. I will cover the prescription deliveries again tonight and then I have an airport run tomorrow. I should get home in time to pick Emma up from her new daycare if all goes well. I have Easie set up to get her if I am running late and can’t make it. I will take Friday night off and insure Emma and I have the evening together and all of tomorrow. I usually take her somewhere special on Saturday mornings, but I have no plans as of yet. She loves Mama’s Restaurant just down the road from us. I’ll take her there for lunch as a treat. The lake is getting colder and I don’t want to burn the Rose Gardens out. I think we may make a stop by the Discovery Science Museum. She loves that place. I have also found a home that is a Museum with a large flower garden on Broadway just north of downtown. If it’s not too hot, we may give that one a try also. Emma loves the flowers.
