Day 2 - Wife Away - Midway Check-in Our way of life is threatened. Things are strained. The grocery stock is down to a bag of rice - not minute rice. The $250 I was left for groceries is now at $150 and I dont recall buying any groceries - unless $40 on chips and chocolate count. The kids are becoming bitter and disgruntled. Their snack tonight consisted of 2 fruit loops I found under the sofa. I swear I heard Carter say F*&^ this and then he waved his fist at me. Some water spilled on his arm and he is turning a scaly green color. Im scared! Sabreena just keeps chanting mommys gone, daddy sucks over and over again. The fish has conspired against me. The toothpaste is gone, but there is a large tube of face cream that should do until I can stock up on supplies. I plan to head to Home Hardware today for groceries - hopefully all will be good and balanced after that.
