Day 2: Today I am thankful for having the time with my Grandma Carole while I had it. She was the warmest, kindest, caring, special lady in this universe. Without her guidance, ENCOURAGEMENT, and gentle way many things in my life would not be as they are. Although she has passed when times are rough I have to stop and ask myself what it is she would want me to do because that would be the right path to go. I miss her everyday and would give anything for one more day to just answer the phone and hear her say is this my Kaela, or give me a hug, or tell me stories of her and my Grandpa (my favorite always being their Hawaii trip), or to hear her and my Grandpa bicker so cutely as he laughs his silly laugh and watch her shake her head but still be glowing and smiling with love, or eat one of her pork chop meals, or eat a fudgesicle(?) and when done immediately ask for another and hear her say dont tell your mother and kiss me on the head. I am so grateful I had Elena and got to watch her hold her and love her, she babysat her a couple hours a few times and Elena remembers and speaks of her still. I am so happy she still remembers and she loves my Grandma as much as I do!!! I LOVE YOU A BUSHEL AND A PECK GRANDMA.
