Day#24 #staypositive 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Hurt is often times the hardest emotion we will ever encounter in our lives. Being told we do not match another persons definition of worth and value is a very heart breaking event to endure. We are hurt in many different ways, and we are hurt with many different words and actions. The lasting effect of hurt can damage our ability to love and give love. We can be so damaged by rejection in our lives that we declare never to trust or love again. The source of our rejection in our lives is often times from those we need the most. Your hurt is real and it is ok to feel the emotional spiral from that personal trauma. Jesus came down and took the form of flesh and blood for you. The love of God is seen in the ugliness of the cross, and His nature is seen in His willingness to take your imperfection and make it perfect before God. Love was authored by the Lord and love can be restored by His perfect outlook towards us. It is ok to be mad or sad, but to stay in that state of emotion will erode the relationships we value today. Your value is not defined by individuals. Your value is made perfect through the opinion God has for you. Your actions will not define God’s love for you because it has already been set before us in Christ. People will love you according to actions, but God’s love and opinion towards you will never change. Sin was a stain on our soul, but the blood of Jesus washed your sin from your soul. You are loved beyond understanding, but we only limit God by putting up standards to achieve His love. His love cannot be achieved because He first loved us. We will never love our neighbor, if we do not first love ourselves. You are not just an insignificant person among many in this world, but your name is written on the palm of God’s hand. You are significant in the eyes of God and your illusion of insignificance is only painted on you with the brush of negativity. Jesus will wipe you clean from all stains of the past, and He will separate you from past hurts and pains. God’s love is not based on religion or a denomination, but it is solely based on you. You are the apple of God’s eye and He is madly in love with you today. I ask you to just receive the love of the Lord today because His love is seen in the passion and sacrifice of Christ. Love is never unattainable, and love is never earned with God. Perfect love is beyond all understanding and beyond our ability to earn. We just have to receive His love. I ask you to receive His perfect love today. God loves you so much, He sent His only Son to die for you. Whether we see it or not, we are loved and accepted by perfect love.
