Day 3 . No petrol in all of the LEH , so much for start of a motorcycle tour to the heights .... If only the state government works to sort these basics instead of protecting the local bike renting agencies by restricting non J&K tour operators bringing in their own motobikes Some jerry cans and borrowed fuel , enough to swap day fives itinerary with day 3 . Maybe a blessing in disguise as it gave us another day on altitudes where we got aclimatised but then this would take a toll in another form (to follow later) We moved westwards from LEH towards Hall OF Fame - An Indian Army Memorial , sought divine blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Magnetic Hill to witness gravity defying forces in action. Whats Ladakh without some Bollywood inspiration ... went over long winding roads chiseled through massive rocky mountains to some of the most picturesque settings. See our photos on the bridge. So what if we did not hang upside down to diffuse a bomb like Shahrukh Khan in Jab Tak Hai Jaan , we covered all these miles before start of whats going to be The Day Stay Tuned and enjoy lots of new pictures in the meantime !! PS : No Cola in all of Leh too ... looks like we arrived ahead of the start of the season. Those who know me understand this is as vital as oxygen for my survival :)
