Day 4: i faltered in only the slightest way..had some black bean soup...but it is liquid, right? I think pureed soups without any dairy and no fat are fine for my plan. Chicken broth too. Dont let the protein advocates fool you into thinking you need to eat meat to get your daily protein. My latest blood work is a testament to the fact that vegetable protein is just fine. Today i lead a hike at 10 am through Catlin Woods and host the annual Woodcock Cocktail Party this evening..which is sold out. Food challenges aplenty but I have my strategy. That is one of the most important things about weightloss..you MUST have a plan every day. If you are going out to dinner at a restaurant..look online at their menu and plan your attack. If you are going to someones home for dinner either ask what is on the menu and explain your situation..and bring something which is suitable for yourself but perhaps an inspiration for others who will be there. We rock.
