Day 6~ I am thankful for my adopted parents. They are my friends who choose to be my parents. I was foster kid in my teen years, 14-18. When I was 17 I got pregnant with Josh. I turned 18 one month after he was born. In the foster system, when you turn 18 youre out. Their wasnt a half way house or any type of help for me and I didnt know what to do. My social worker, Angie, knew Tim & Sylvia from church. She asked them if I could live with them. To my surprise they said yes. Even though I only lived with them for one year. I still consider them my parents and they have been a constant source of encouragement, love, support and guidance for me and my kids. I love them with all my heart. Happy Birthday Mom ♥
