Dead spots in your lawn? Its winter kill due to the lack of moisture this winter. In my lawn it is dead where my sprinklers do not cover as well, so I know my lawn died in those spots due to lack of moisture. Recommendations: 1. Adjust your sprinkler system to make sure you have good coverage, maybe add sprinkler heads. 2. Scratch it up with a rake and seed it. 3. Cover up the bare spots with Pennmulch 4. Keep the seed damp and it will germinate in 7-10 days depending on the variety you pick.
