The initiative celebrates and supports the UK’s future stars of film, television and games through a bespoke career development programme of mentoring, guidance sessions and networking opportunities. Ashley said: “Being named a Breakthrough Brit really means a lot to me... I’ve been through a lot of barriers in my life because of my disability, so having something like this just shows that a deaf person can break through to the mainstream.
