Dean is helping me refinish my grandmothers secretary desk that Darcy (my sister) sent my way when she became owner of another one. I thought it would be quite a challenge for me, but so far I think I must be doing a pretty good job--it is completely disassembled, sanded to feel like silk, and all the small imperfections puttied up--ready to stain and assemble. I must be very good at carpentry, because I just started about a week and a half ago, and the only labor my hands have done is to sand the front edge (about 18 inches by a half inch each) of two pieces and strip some of the scrollwork--its like all the rest happened by itself! Either that, or I have a very good, wonderful, talented husband who likes to get things done! Thank you, Dean!!!!!
