Dear [2012], Were creating a travel guide of our favorite places. Help us write it! Tell us where youve been, where you are, where you want to go. We want to hear stories about your favorite escapes, the best dive bars in your cities, the museums that have inspired you and the restaurants that have blown you away. Write up a description of one place you love or tell us about a dozen different spots that you want to share with us. We want to hear it all. Submissions are not limited to words, either. Send along pictures if youd like. Or drawings or train tickets or maps or postcards. Well put everything together in a downloadable travel guide. It would be really fun to have a resource of everyones favorite things when we travel to new cities or when were rediscovering familiar towns. In case you need more incentive beyond the satisfaction of contributing to a collaborative project, everyone who sends us a submission will be entered to win one of three surprise packages of travel-themed presents.
