Dear Addison, It has been a year since you left us to be with your Mom and Grandma Breedlove, and we miss you every day. But in your name your friends and family have taken to educating others about melanoma and sun safety. Your brother Brandon is now in 11th grade, David is a first grader and Daniel is living in San Antonio. Cheyenne graduated high school and is getting ready to start school for Criminal Justice, she wants to be a cop like her mom. Savannah and I are starting our junior years at ASU, she plans on being a nurse at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and is starting to volunteer there. Gabi is a detective again, and still works with PCH to help other kids. I volunteer in the hematology/oncology clinic with all the people that took care of you. Its strange but we all feel connected to you when we are there. We had a motorcycle ride on your birthday led by Liz and all your friends, family and new supporters came out, everyone had a great time, and I even got everyone to say Ta-Da. For Childhood Cancer month in September we are going to have a 1st Annual Golf Tournament at the Biltmore in Phoenix. Its a really nice place. We have also connected with the awesome people at Childrens Cancer Network you would have loved Mrs. Lutrell she is so sweet. A boy named Graham started Grahams Gift and makes UV bead bracelets which we gave out when we are educating. Of course the doctors at PCH, T Gen and the Mayo clinic are still learning from you and your mommy. We lost you and mommy way too soon but we will continue to educate others in your memories.
