Dear Brave Souls: as promised, update about the terrible floods in Bosnia, Herzegovina and Serbia [and elsewhere in the world, ]--please pray for protection and holding on for people and creatures, and please give whatever you can give to the service organizations, Red Cross and others... give what you can. The needs will be, as in every disaster, great-- and for a time to come. Here is the communique [below] from one of my friend in Serbia with information about what is unfolding and where you can make contact. Thank you ever for your care for others. with love, dr.e Id sent this [excerpted] If you know of an organization on the ground in the east of serbia, let me know and I will mention them too. People can give money and churches and temples here can give clothing and other things needed that can be shipped, along with medicines and doctors without borders support...with kindest regards, dr.e. And received this communique from good man in Serbia on the floods throughout... Im living in the Eastern part of the country which was not so much affected by the floods, so everything is alright here, but the Western part is completely devastated. 20% of the total population has been affected (1.3 million people), a lot of people lost their homes and were evacuated to safety. Some of them, unfortunately lost their lives. I will give you the website of the account that Serbian Government opened for donations over PayPal that are coming from abroad: floodrelief.gov.rs/eng/ This account is also accessible from Serbian Ministry of Finance website: mfin.gov.rs/newsitem.php?h=1&id=1028... And the website of Red Cross in Serbia: redcross.org.rs/index.php It would mean a lot to those people any kind of help that they can get. I wish you good night and thanks again for your big support and prayers... V. please do what you can, dear brave souls: you could start by googling to see if there are Serbians, Bosnians, Hertzogovinans in your community and being in touch with them to see what is needed in the Central Balkans most right now.
