Dear Facebook Friends and Family: I went in too see Michael Scantling in the Kirkland Correctional Institution Infirmary this afternoon. They have moved him to Room 5. Of course his mail will get to him if Room 4 is still on the address. The first thing he wanted to talk about was a dream he had about me and him. He was really excited about the dream. In his dream, we were someplace that was illuminated by a beautiful bright light. He said that a light was coming from my face, and I imagine there was a light coming from his face also. He could see a picnic basket full of good food, but he did not see a table or anything to put it on. The bright light consumed everything. As a matter of fact, me and him were elevated off the ground, but we were comfortable. It just seemed so natural to him. He felt a real sense of peace. He was full of joy! He said another amazing thing was that we were communicating in perfect harmony, but we were not talking. He said in this place where we were at, we did not have to talk to communicate. I told him that it sounds like we might have been in heaven together,. and we could talk to each other by the power of thought without speaking out loud. That sure sounds like something heaven would have. We have no idea how far advanced we are going to be in heaven. But we do know it is going to be glorious. For a man that they have quit treating for cancer, other than the pain medication, he seems to be doing well. When you are around someone who is in the last stages of cancer, you can usually see a difference in them the more you get around them. Such is not the case with me and Michael. He might very will be dying, but you would never know it to talk with him. Im praying that the Lord Jesus Christ heals him, or takes Mike home to be with Him. Its a win-win situation. :-)
