Dear Family and Friends, Mom gave me a scare yesterday and today. All that we have is each other. However, this evening, her appetite returned and she ate half of the fruit salad that I brought to her. I was afraid that she had suffered another stroke but her CAT scan results were negative. She had a temperature earlier today but was normal this evening. She has lost more mobility. Please pray that she will have all of her mobility back. She wants to come home and is not ready to leave me, yet. I am so grateful. I, too, remain in need of prayer as I am still not gainfully employed. I am between the proverbial rock and a hard place. I need work and she needs full-time care. Moms physical strength has continued to dwindle and her physical condition has been downgraded. Yet, I am believing God for her complete recovery. And as thy days, so shall thy strength be. I have two choices: Despair or hope. As Ken Medema wrote: Hope in God. Its easy when youre talking about it. Words are cheap. We all know what to say. Nevertheless, I hope in God!!!!!!! Despair has no future.
