Dear Family and friends, When I was working as a counselor, one fact that was for sure; life can take us in directions we are not prepared for...low and behold here we are and I can say I intend on fighting the good fight! I could not be fighting this without the kindness and generosity you have given me. When I hear the stories of love and selfless giving I am so touched. Knowing I have so many of you behind me really does make these times easier. Through this journey I am truly humbled. Being a caregiver, I have realized how hard it is for me to receive from others without feeling guilty...I want to be the one helping. That is an issue I am working on as we speak!
