Dear Friends, Today ,s day is the day of Hindi Day and definitely - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends, Today ,s day is the day of Hindi Day and definitely this poses on us the responsibility of placing our mother tongue & national language Hindi at zenith. Though I am in habit of writing in English language but if I am asked to choose a language to love that would be my mother tongue Hindi. No one tries to love his/her real mother. He/She loves his/her mother truly, absolutely & unquestioningly without any effort. The same analogy is applicable to understand the significance of mother tongue for any person. That is why no should be dictated to follow & love any particular language under any autocratic command. Accommodating differences & diversity is quite essential to ensure survival, growth and peace for any society. Constitution of India has accommodated this angle in respect language arrangement too and that is why there is adequate flexibility in Indian society and the seeds of disintegration has been almost diluted and pushed to at bottom level. Loving one language does not mean hating other languages.Language is material but more material virtue is having spirit of accommodating gesture & respect in respect of others, taste & likeness. Equally the core key point in treatment with language is the utilitarian criteria. In this extreme time of fast Globalization when whole world is shrinking and sailing towards more close interaction & cooperation, especially in respect of economic front. Can you think & afford a world set up without any international link language. Probably there is need of a link language. Fortunately or Unfortunately on account of historical reasons this is English language which has assumed that role. So on account of utilitarian compulsions we can not ignore the significance of English language. we should learn this language too. But Hindi is our unquestionable love with due respect & attachment and definitely it enhances our solidarity & love vigorously and making this nation great . I salute Hindi with regard. R.B.L.
