Dear Friends and Members of Desert Hills Lutheran Church, The last couple of days I spent with my younger brother, goofing off. Part of it was trying to talk ourselves into a newer used motorcycle. We are really good company when we are looking to go faster on two wheels. Im so extremely grateful for family and especially a younger brother who is also a great friend. This weekend we will be celebrating and giving thanks for our saints who left us this past year. Every year we give thanks for those who have lived and worked with us on Gods mission. It is both a joy and a sorrow as we remember good friends and are thankful for them. Then we are sad for they no longer walk along side of us. But then there is joy that they have finished their journey and now see our Lord face to face. All Saints Weekend is a time of giving thanks! The Halloween concert tomorrow night at 6pm should be great fun and it will provide food for the Food Bank. Blessings to all of you. - Pastor Martin
