Dear Harvest Century friends: The National Weather Service is predicting heavy rain beginning Friday and continuing through Saturday and Sunday. At this time, temperatures are predicted to be a high of 64 degrees and low of 55 degrees. Due to potentially heavy rain accumulations and possibly severe weather, the Harvest Century routes are being adjusted. Final cue sheets and rider maps will be available when you check in on Sunday morning. As we adjust these routes, please note that your safety is our primary consideration. The Century (100) mile route will no longer be taking place. The 45-mile route and a modified 75-mile route will still be available. Start times are as follows: Registration/Check in for 75 mile ride: 7:30 AM – 9:00 Start time for 75 mile ride: 8:00 – 9:00 AM Registration/Check-in for 45-mile ride: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM Start time for 45-mile ride: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Even if you decide to ride a shorter route than originally planned, we hope you consider coming out for the day in support of Community Vision, and enjoy the music, great food and the company of friends. We will have a large, heated tent for riders at the finish line two great music bands, as well as hot cider and hot chocolate at rest stops and the finish line, and hot coffee in the morning! Please be sure to dress appropriately for inclement weather. We will have a bag check station at the Start/Finish line, to accommodate extra gear you may have brought. During your ride, please remember to have your Rider Bib with you at all times. We apologize for any inconvenience that this weather pattern may cause. Be sure to check harvestcentury.org and the Harvest Century Facebook page for updates. We are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday! The Harvest Century Event Team
