Dear Heavenly Father as I come before you today, I ask that you bless the young minds that are students all across these Virgin Islands. As they embark on this new school year, I ask that you bless their minds with understanding to not only master their course work, but understanding so that they can value the education they will receive. I ask you to bless the stars in our education system, our educators - please give them patience to be able to work with each child in their class to ensure that all of our students have the chance to receive their wise instruction. I ask you to bless my staff at the Ministry and Department of Education that we continue the hard but necessary work of developing an education system that will create innovative leaders throughout our community. I ask you to bless parents/guardians all across the Virgin Islands. As they too embark on this new school year, I ask you to give them more time in their day and week to become even more actively engaged in their childs education. I also ask you to bless our community, so that collectively we all can appreciate how a good education can transform the lives of our students, our economy and our society. Heavenly Father as I come before you today, I ask all these things to add to the prosperity of these Virgin Islands that youve blessed us to live in. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
