Dear INCOME TAX The level of incompetence at your offices astounds the Island of Guernsey AGAIN. I am certain that this will get no positive action from you, unless it’s filed for some future action against us. Is there anyone in your ‘organisation’ (and I use the term VERY loosely) who can explain how so many tax returns have been mislaid ? Or how the required tax returns and included sums earned have been totally ignored in favour of an assessment, which is impossible to pay. THEN you have the nerve to take folk to court because of your inefficiency ! We pay financially, together with the destruction of our reputations, in order for you to keep your poorly trained staff, who, when making mistakes, would have them fired in any other job ! There needs to be a total shutdown of the present tax offices and new one opened with new staff who actually know what they are doing. Yours, sincerely annoyed
