Dear JALT Vocabulary SIG Membership. We hope you are all well. We are writing to you all concerning two points, the extension of the VERB submission deadline to take advantage of the national holiday weekend, and to introduce ourselves. First, in order to allow authors to perfect their articles before submission to the VERB, we have extended the deadline for submission for the next edition of the VERB to the 12th of January. We look forward to receiving your submissions. My name is Stuart McLean, some of you know me already, and as one of the new co-editors of the VERB and JALT Vocabulary SIG publicity chair I hope that you will hear more from me in the future. I will use both positions of responsibility to promote the JALT Vocabulary SIG and its members both domestically and increasingly internationally. And hello there from the other co-editor, Magda Kitano. I think a few of you know me from Vocabulary SIG events, but I hope to get to know a lot more of you in my new role at VERB, and also in upcoming SIG events.
