Dear Lord, grant me the understanding not to fear DEATH as the ultimate, but a beginning of new life. Help me not to give credits to the devil; he can only do what you allow him to. Help me to know that in the events of life; whether good or bad, you permitted it. When the events turn bad, help me not to ask “WHY ME” but “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO LEARN LORD?” Help me to know that my prayers WON’T count if I do not pray what is in your will for me. Help me to know that in the movie of life, you are the director. The script has been written, I just have to fit into the role you have created me to act without complain. Help me to praise you anyway when my heart desires are not fulfilled. It was not part of the script. Grant me this understanding Dear Lord that I may be liberated from religion and myth of twisting your hands with self-righteousness. So I may deal with you as you are and not be frustrated when I do not get responses to my prayers. AMEN
